Our Story

Kashmir Sapphire Kashmir Sapphire Collection

The Beginning

Born from a Passion for Rarity

Founded in 1987 on the Rue de la Paix, DigiStash began as a single gemologist's obsession: to find and present stones of such extraordinary character that no serious collector could ignore them.

Over nearly four decades, we have traversed every mining region on Earth — from the high-altitude valleys of Kashmir to the ancient coral reefs of Queensland — building relationships with miners, cutters, and laboratories that few in the trade can match.

"A great gemstone is not found. It is recognised."
— Édouard Lumière, Founder
